New Catalogue Out: "Walking Their Own Paths: Women Calligraphers in Contemporary Taiwan"
「自由自在——臺灣當代女性書藝展」圖錄已經出版。 再次感謝所有參展藝術家、桃園市立美術館及一起工作的所有夥伴! 並感謝Aida Yuen Wong(阮圓)老師及高千惠老師惠賜圖錄專文! 我在圖錄中的專文〈回望與凝視:歷史與跨域視野中的臺灣當代女性書藝〉,或許目前為止針對這個議題最長的一篇文章。僅是拋磚引玉,期盼有許許多多的後續者接著做下去。 這個議題已經delay太久太久,希望學術界開始認真關注。 感謝桃園市立美術館首任館長劉俊蘭教授邀請我進行女性書藝家的研究計畫,才促成了後來這個展覽的誕生。在數年的訪談及田野過程中,我深切感受到臺灣當代書法圈的活力,但同時也對這個圈子中某些根深蒂固的觀念與難以撼動的思考慣性感到吃驚。 我長期專注於古代書法史研究,但近年逐漸走出既有範疇,因而得以看見書法藝術更為豐富的風景,也使我意識到過去的盲點,而能更周全一點地思考問題。我亦期盼書法創作者能盡量打開視野;保存傳統最好的方式,往往不是封閉,而是開放! New Catalogue Out:"Striving for Perfection: Donated Paintings and Calligraphy from the 1949 Cross-Strait Migration"
